The AFFA Headquarters hosted a meeting on match fixing.
The two-day meeting was attended by Stephanie Eichenberger, FIFA representative; Massimiliano Michenzi, UEFA representative; Sarkhan Hajiyev, Deputy of AFFA General Secretary; Seymur Salimli, UEFA representative on match-fixing in Azerbaijan. The guests made a special presentation and talked about the match fixing and ways to fight against it during the meeting in which representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, collaborators of the Referees Committee and PFL, referees, members of Law Enforcement Agencies and representatives of the Topaz Premier League and the First Division clubs took part. FIFA and UEFA representatives gave information about provisions contained on this issue in the Disciplinary Rules of FIFA and UEFA respectively, and shared examples from their international experiences.
