Andriy Pavelko, President of the Football Federation of Ukraine has visited Baku to watch the "Qarabag" - "Vorskla" match that took place within the UEFA Europa League group stage.
A meeting was held between Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan and Mr. Pavelko at the Baku Olympic Stadium. During the meeting there were emphasized the mutual cooperation’s being in a high level between AFFA and FFU, and perspectives were discussed about the cooperation of the both football federations on different directions in future too.
An initial agreement was reached on organizing a friendly match between the former players of Azerbaijan and Ukraine next year within the framework of the promotion campaign of the Europa League final match to be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium in 2019.
Andriy Pavelko expressed his gratitude for the meeting and efficient discussions on behalf of the delegation of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
