The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) next Report Conference has been held at Boulevard Hotel today.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev opened the conference with his welcome speech and greeted the conference members, guests and mass media representatives. R.Abdullayev gave brief information about the events AFFA held for development of football in Azerbaijan during the report period and said the done works come to positive results.
The Mandate Commission Chairman Mahmud Sadigov made a report, that 32 of 35 representatives take part at the conference, thereby the conference is competent.
There was chosen a numeral commission consisting of the members Rovshan Ahmadov, Shaig Hamidov and Fikrat Huseynov for calculating the result of the vote.
General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov declared, CBC Sport TV channel prepared a video about AFFA activities during the report period. General Secretary made a report in detail after the presentation of the video.
Deputy Chief of UNICEF Azerbaijan, one of the AFFA partners, Min Yuan was invited to talk after the speeches of the Head of AFFA Marketing and Sponsorship Department Tural Piriyev and Volunteer Program Director Vugar Rustamli. Miss Yuan talked about the works done in cooperation with AFFA and presented the new social video.
AFFA Chief Accountant Khalid Javadov presented financial report of 2016 (the financial report will be shared on the website). Independent Audit Organization member Ulvi Hasanov’s report was listened after him.
After all the speeches, Elkhan Mammadov announced, that the Sectional Football Federations Social Union has to be represented by 2 members in AFFA Executive Committee according to the Regulations, and the Executive Committee member Mirkamil Rahimov who was elected in the previous conference, was dead, so the elections will be held for a vacancy of Sectional Football Federations Social Union’s 1 member to represent it in the Executive Committee.
Only 1 person’s – Futsal Federation President Zaur Axhundov’s candidate was nominated for the Executive Committee membership, thus the elections were held with the open vote. Zaur Akhundov was elected a member of AFFA Executive Committee.
There was held the Executive Committee meeting, and a press conference with AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev, following the conference.
