AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev shares his opinions about “Qarabagh” and “Gabala” clubs’ qualifying for the UEFA Europa League group stage with affa.az website:
“Yesterday evening, great excitement was felt in Azerbaijan as in a number of European countries. To watch the UEFA Europa League play-off games in a different way, to follow the results calm, without emotion is very difficult. I am so glad that, the both Azerbaijani clubs taking part in this tournament – “Qarabagh” and “Gabala” caused to forget our anxiety and excitement with their qualifying for the group stage. I am sure, all football community of our republic, each football fan shares our gladness. “Qarabagh” qualifies third time and “Gabala” second time for the group stage of the continent’s respected tournament and they prove that the previous successes were not fortuitous and they are directed right in the way developing football. I wish the both clubs good luck and to present the victory joy to the fans in the group stage”.
