The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) XXV Ordinary Report Conference has been held at Boulevard Hotel today.
First, a video was displayed about the goals of Azerbaijan national team which had been scored during the matches held last year.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev welcomed the conference members, guests and mass media representatives. R.Abdullayev gave brief information about the events that held by AFFA for developing football in Azerbaijan during the report period and said the done works come to positive results.
The Mandate Commission Chairman Ramish Maliyev made a report about the competence of the conference.
There was chosen a numeral commission consisting of the members Rovshan Ahmadov, Vagif Omarov and Karim Aghayev to calculate the result of the vote.
General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov notified the participation of the FIFA and UEFA members in the conference and invited the FIFA Director of the European Member Associations Bjorn Vassallo to the rostrum to say the FIFA’s application to the conference. Then the general secretary made a comprehensive report, and a report video was played following it.
AFFA Chief Accountant Khalid Javadov presented financial report of 2017 (the financial report will be shared on the website). Independent Audit Organization member Ulvi Hasanov’s report was listened after him.
The head of the Grassroots Department Jahangir Hasanzada spoke about the works done to increase football grassroots.
The opinions of Thierry Favre who had taken part with the presentation about the UEFA HatTrick program in the conference were listened.
The promotion video prepared by UEFA about the UEFA Nations League that the Azerbaijan national team to take part in, was displayed. After the video, the UEFA Executive Committee member John Delaney was invited to talk.
AFFA President R.Abdullayev congratulated the conference participants for upcoming Novruz Holiday and the ladies for 8 March – International Women’s Day after declaring the end of the conference.
A video prepared by AFFA and UNICEF jointly were watched in the end.
There was held the Executive Committee meeting, and a press conference with AFFA General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov after the conference.
