Azerbaijan Championship will be held among the high school and college students with the support of AFFA, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports by the organization of Students Football Federation. 29 teams will compete in the competition. Western region matches will be held in Ganja, and Southern region matches in Shirvan. The teams which become winners in the regions, will qualify for the competition to be organized in Baku. 5 teams will compete in each group and the first 3 places winners will qualify for the “play-off” round of the competition. Opening ceremony will be held at Bayil Arena at 15:00 on February 17. Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport will meet Azerbaijan Medical University team. The tournament matches will be held at the pitches of Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport, National Aviation Academy, National Teams Training-Camp Centre according to Olympic Sport Types, and Bina Stadium.
