Azerbaijan youth team consisted of the players born in 1999 have played their last game within the XXIX traditional international tournament devoted to FIFA's First Vice-President Valentin Granatkin's memory today.
Azerbaijan met Belarus at the match for 9th place at the tournament. The full time of the game at Peterburgski Sport-Concert Complex completed in a draw 1-1 so the winners were determined after the penalty shootouts.
Azeri boys were more exact 5-4 (the total score 6-5) and took the 9th place at the tournament.
Because of January 20 – the National Mourning Day players of Azerbaijan youth team wore black armbands.
