There is held the event “The development of grassroots football in Eastern Europe countries” under the “UEFA GROW” cooperation program of UEFA in Tbilisi, Georgia.
AFFA First Vice-President Rauf Aliyev, General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov, Head of Marketing and Sponsorship Department Tural Piriyev and Grassroots Coordinator Jahangir Hasanzada take part at the event. Elkhan Mammadov presented AFFA "GROW 2020" Development Program and talked about the problems that the Eastern European countries confronting in grassroots football. Beside Elkhan Mammadov, UEFA Executive Committee members from Sweden and Ireland took part at the event.
UEFA "UEFA GROW" cooperation program was started to apply in Azerbaijan for the first time 2 years ago.
