AFFA and UEFA have organized the Football and Business Summit in the Fairmont Hotel Baku today.
Rashad Bayramov, the moderator of the summit, welcomed participants of the summit and invited Tural Piriyev, head of AFFA Marketing and Sponsorship Department, Elchin Mammadov, a staff member of the Ministry of Taxes and Movlan Pashayev, from PWS Company to speak on the topic "Macroeconomic impact of football" as part of the first panel. After speeches on the subject, the speakers answered the questions of the students participating in the event.
Discussion on the topic "Social benefits from football" was held during the second panel of the forum. Oleksandr Kucheriavyi (UEFA), Edward Carwardine (UNICEF) and Tim Crabbe (Substance) made debates during this panel.
Tom Liston (SportMatters), Jeyhun Taghiyev (Coca-Cola) and Tural Piriyev (AFFA) were the debaters of the last third panel. The participants of the panel on the topic "The impact of football partnership on business" gave the samples on the topic and answered the questions.
Robert Pires, the Summit's star ambassador, delivered the congratulatory message to the summit participants.
At the end of the event, Mr. Pires held a lottery and two participants of the summit won a ticket for the 2019 UEFA Europa League Final Baku.
