On December 10 there was held the “Intellectual Cup” for media representatives dedicated to the UEFA Champions League Final to take place in Baku, on May 29, 2019
Not only the journalists, but also the press service representatives of the football clubs attended the event
13 teams competed in the “Intellectual Cup” at Baku Olympic Stadium. The participants were asked various questions about the history of the Europa League, interesting matches and famous players in the competition that lasted about 3 hours.
Two teams randomly selected as a result of a draw in each round competed against each other intensely in the "Intellectual Cup". The team that scored more points in the competition between two teams was declared the winner of that round.
The team of “Ictimai TV” became the winner of the “Intellectual Cup” getting ahead the opponents with their 34 points at the end of the tournament. “CBC Sport-2” took the second, “Penyarol” the third places.
The organizers presented valuable prizes to the winner team.
