The memorial tournament organized by the Union of Football Veterans with support of AFFA and devoted to the 89th anniversary of the late Alakbar Mammadov, one of the most talented representatives of Azerbaijani football, the USSR honored master of sports, the USSR honored coach, four times USSR champion, former head coach of Azerbaijan national team, member of AFFA Executive Committee, is completed.
Aghasalim Mirjavadov, a member of AFFA Coaches Committee, head of the Union of Football Veterans Rustam Rahimov, football veterans Chingiz Ismayilov, Abdulgani Nurmammadov, Samad Gurbanov, Orujali Durmushov, Fizuli Najafov and other representatives of the football community participated in the award ceremony.
FC Keshla won the tournament. FC Sabah finished second and FC Sabail took the third place. Ravan Mustafayev (Keshla) was named best goalkeeper, and Omar Yusublu (Sabah) was selected best player.
All three teams were awarded with medals and a cup was presented to the winner team.
