Neftchi FC played its second leg game within the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round against Arsenal Tula FC of Russia at Bakcell Arena.
The match ended in a 3:0 win of Neftchi. Rauf Aliyev opened the score in the 49th minute. The second goal was scored accurately by Dario from penalty shootout in the 89th minute, while the author of the last goal was Mboji in the 90+3rd minute which determined the final score and the winner.
Thereby, Neftchi FC which had also won the first leg match held in Tula last week, qualified for the third qualifying round according to the results of the both matches. The opponent is Bnei Yehuda FC of Israel in this round. The teams will meet on August 8 in Baku, and after a week – on August 15 in Tel Aviv.
