The next meeting of AFFA Executive Committee took place in the National Teams Training Center at Dalga Arena today. After the discussions, the following decisions were made:
1. To keep the number of teams in Topaz Premier League season 2019\2020 as in the last season (8 teams). No club from First Division submitted the relevant documents for obtaining a license to participate in Topaz Premier League season 2019\2020, and therefore the same teams will compete in TPL season 2019\2020 as were last season.
2. The travel expenses of Azerbaijani under-21 players to be invited to the foreign clubs (in for trail and with a high probability of signing a contract), national teams or who are potential candidates will be paid by AFFA to support them.
3. According to AFFA's Grow-2020 Strategy, to provide an increase the number of teams in the season 2020\2021, if the Topaz Premier League license terms are met.
