The 5th meeting of the working group on the preparation of EURO 2020 was held in Strasbourg, France, under the Standing Committee of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events. Konul Mehtiyeva, head of AFFA International Relations Department, a project coordinator of the UEFA EURO 2020 finals Baku Operating Group attended the meeting.
Remind, the Standing Committee of the Council of Europe members visited Baku to be acquainted with Baku Olympic Stadium on October 13-16. The guests met with the government agencies (Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Health, Special State Protection Service, State Security Service), and sports competitions, preparation and operation process of football games, and preparation for the EURO 2020 were discussed during the meetings.
