The World and European Champion Robert Pires, who is currently on a visit to Baku within the preparatory campaign of the 2019 UEFA Europa League final match to be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium on May 29, 2019, attended the football festival organized for kids from youth teams.
Mr. Pires, a French former professional player, who played for a number of famous clubs during his career, together with AFFA General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov, veteran player, the ambassador of the 2019 UEFA Europa League Veli Gasimov and head of AFFA Grassroots Department Jahangir Hasanzada attended the kids’ training. The guest from France made a tour to the Baku Olympic Stadium, which will host the final match of the 2019 UEFA Europa League, took pictures with kids and gave them autographs. At the end of the event, a briefing was held for the journalists at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
