“BALL FESTIVAL” IN LANKARAN



Ball festival organized by AFFA together with «HYUNDAİ AUTO AZERBAİJAN» and held in Heydar Aliyev Park in Lankaran city on 14 November, 2008.

«BALL FESTIVAL» IN GANJA

In accordance with the State Programme for development of football in Azerbaijan from 2005 to 2015 signed by the president of the republic, Ilham Aliyev AFFA realizes different projects directed on popularization of football in the country, spotting talented young footballers, and also to develop football for children. After the “Ball festival” organized on 16 December, 2007 in Baku by Azerbaijan Football Federations Associations with McDonald’s it was decided to realize analogous projects in regions. BALL FESTIVAL IN BAKU

Ball festival held according to the provisions of the "State Program for the development of football in Azerbaijan from 2005 to 2015" signed by the president of republic, Ilham Aliyev, and with the agreement signed by AFFA and McDonald’s, on December 16, 2007 in Baku, Narimanov district, Tabriz street, 19/59 (in front of McDonald’s) in which 151 children participated. SCOUTING DAYS FOR KIDS

AFFA organized scouting days for boys born in 1998-1999 and 1996-1997 in Olympic National Teams Trainings Centre on 25 and 26 March. 117 kids participated at the scouting on 25 March and the scouting on 26 March involved 105 kids.  Detailed.....

FOOTBALL LESSONS AT SCHOOL

General information about the project

Recently decisive steps are taken to develop and popularize football in the country. The purpose is not only to train and educate good football-player but to turn Football into the part of life, to arouse young people interest in Football, to create favorable conditions for youth to play football during their leisure-time, to unhook them from pernicious habits. The construction of artificial-turf pitches is one of the main activities aimed at the development of youth football. AFFA has constructed number of artificial-turf pitches in Baku and in the regions; kids, teenagers and young people can use them for free. And it, in the first place, creates necessary conditions for kids and teenagers to play football in the streets. In addition to that artificial-turf pitches are constructed at the schools and pupils studies at these schools can play football on these pitches.

In accordance with the State programme for the development of football in Azerbaijan from 2005 to 2015, signed by the president of the republic, Ilham Aliyev, and with the agreement signed by AFFA and Ministry of Education, a “Football lessons at school” project has started.
