There was a friendly match today at "Dalga Arena" as part of a series of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of AFFA.
The match was broadcasted live on the CBC Sport TV channel, and a team consisting of employees of AFFA, the Professional Football League and coaches of Azerbaijan national teams played against a team consisting of employees of clubs playing in the National Premier League and coaches working in those clubs. AFFA president Rovnag Abdullayev congratulated the members of both teams on the occasion of the anniversary and took a commemorative photo. He symbolically touched the ball together with veteran footballers Kazbek Tuayev and Chingiz Ismayilov. The match, full of intense and interesting struggle, was officiated by FIFA referee Aliyar Agayev and and ended with a score of 5:5. Ilgar Gurbanov (2), Arif Asadov, Farrukh Ismayilov and Zaur-Haji Maharramov scored the goals of the squad of AFFA team. The goals of the clubs were scored by Khagani Mammadov (4) and Zaur Taghizadeh.
