Rovshan Najaf, the President of AFFA who presided over the meeting, spoke about the tasks set before them and the work to be done in the direction of their implementation. Executive Vice-President Sarkhan Hajiyev informed about the agenda of the meeting.

Firstly, issues related to the AFFA Referees Committee, lacks and problems in the field of refereeing were discussed at the meeting. In this regard, it wa decided to prepare the Codex of the Referees Committee (disciplinary rules, determination of punishments, etc.). At the same time, discussions were held regarding the chairman of the Referees Committee. The public will be informed about this in the near future.
Later, the issue of the head coach of the national futsal team was considered. Vitaly Borisov's contract has been extended for another year.
Sahib Mammadov has been appointed the head coach of the national beach football team. The duration of the contract with him is 1 year.
The Executive Committee also discussed the current situation in the I and II Leagues. Due to participation of several football players of "Iravan" FC in match fixing, as well as non-fulfillment of financial obligations, the club was excluded from the competitions held under the AFFA. AFFA will always continue its serious struggle against such negative situations.
The distribution of the funds allocated to the clubs by AFFA was discussed at the meeting of the Executive Committee. It was decided to inform the clubs about the changes in the distribution of criteria.
Information was given about the work done in writing the development strategy of AFFA, and the opinions of the members of the Executive Committee were heard. A decision was made to appoint Elchin Mammadov, director of AFFA's Licensing Group, as project manager for strategy development.
