June 5 - An international event was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the World Environment Day. In cooperation with AFFA, a tree planting campaign was held today in Mushvigabad settlement to contribute to environmental protection and increasing greenery.
The action was organized by AFFA Social and Environmental Department and attended by international referees of the association, as well as football players of Azerbaijan men and women national teams in the lower age group.
During the action, tree seedlings were planted in the area, information was provided on the rules for their care, and educational talks were held on the importance of environmental protection.
Within the framework of the event, representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources met with the football players of the national teams and highly appreciated their participation in the initiative aimed at protecting the environment.
