The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan was awarded a letter of appreciation by the National Center for Hematology and Transfusiology and the Central Blood Bank for its active participation in blood donation.
The letter of appreciation was presented today to Vyacheslav Khomenko, Chief Physician of AFFA.
We should note that representatives of AFFA, Professional Football League, Premier League clubs and the football community took part in the blood donation action organized at the Football Academy on May 21 at the initiative of AFFA.
June 14 is celebrated as International Blood Donor Day around the world.
