AFFA has appropriately appealed to FIFA to allow Amir Agayev, who currently plays for the Greek club “Atromitos”, to play for the Azerbaijan national team.
AFFA has sent an official invitation to “Atromitos” club to invite the player to the national team's training camp.
The relevant FIFA commission will consider the appeal against Amir Agayev next week.
According to the current rules, an application for the invitation of any player playing abroad to the national team must be sent to the club at least 10 days before the start of the training camp.
