Both head coaches shared their opinions for the affa.az website after the Azerbaijan vs Montenegro match held at Dalgha Arena today:
Siyasat Asgarov (Azerbaijan national team head coach): “The first five games we played in the group did not go well for us. Of course, we were not satisfied with these results. We wanted to put an end to the failure. Happily, we were able to put an end to the failure and to return home with a win. This result will give additional stimulus to the team for future games. We want to get positive results in the next 4 games and to finish the group stage at the tops”.
Mirko Maric (Montenegro national team head coach): “We had more possess of the ball. We were close to differing twice. Unfortunately, we hit the crossbar. We were unlucky today. Azerbaijani national team scored a goal and defended well until the end of the game”.
