After today's match between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, the head coaches of both teams told affa.az:
Azerbaijan vs Ukraine: Coaches’ views
Jose Alesio Da Silva (Azerbaijan): “In fact, I expected the game to go this way. Because training for 5-6 days is not enough to prepare for such a game. Because our players, who live for foreign clubs, have been playing on the tactical scheme of head coaches of their clubs for 6-7 months. It takes time to get them used to our style of play. Bolinha's red card also complicated our work. Until then, things were going the way I wanted. After that, our mistakes increased. Because of consecutive mistakes, we conceded goals. Such games can reveal to detect these mistakes. We need to work harder and prepare for an important tournament. We will play another game against this opponent. We will try to change something”.

Oleksandr Kosenko (Ukraine): “An interesting, well-groomed game was taken. Both teams struggled. I am satisfied with my team. We had more control over the ball. Of course, we made mistakes. Now we will analyze them and try to fix them before UEFA Futsal EURO. The beginning of the game was a bit tense. However, none of teams needed it. Because both teams are waiting for a more interesting tournament in just a month”.
