Azerbaijan national team played their first game within the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup main round today. The match against Poland held at Baku Sports Hall ended in a 4:3 win of Azerbaijan. Rafael Vilela scored a double, while other goals were scored for Azerbaijan by Khatai Baghirov and Bolinha. Azerbaijan will play the next game within the World Cup Qualifying round against Greece away on October 11.
