FC Shimal played the second game within the UEFA Regions’ Cup.
The last winner of AFFA Regions League met Sweden's FC Gothenburg within the preliminary round Group B in Kutaisi, Georgia. The match took place on the field of Kutaisi Football Academy and end in a draw 2-2. Kazbek Gafarov scored in the 44th minute and Shahlar Sadiyev in the 58th minute to the Azerbaijani team.
Note that FC Shimal lost to Football School Bridge club of Georgia 0-5 in the first game of the UEFA Regions’ Cup.
