A New Year party was held for children with Down syndrome at the Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS) by the organization of AFFA and the support of PASHA Insurance, Marriott Hotel Boulevard and Aquavita.
Children invited from the Down Syndrome Rehabilitation Center were brought to the stadium by the bus of Azerbaijan national team. They were met at BOS by AFFA Executive Vice President Elkhan Mammadov, the former player Javid Huseynov, Zira FC member Ruslan Abishov, Sumgayit FC goalkeeper Aydin Bayramov and the women's U-17 national team coach Kader Alimova and congratulated them on the upcoming holidays, 31 December - International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and New Year. Then the children were invited to the locker room of the stadium and were informed that the national team uses this room tduring the games. In the locker room, the children were presented with T-shirts of Azerbaijan national team. The T-shirts were made individually and each of them had the name of the child to whom was presented. At the end of the event, children were invited surrounding the Christmas tree, where they participated in an entertaining program and were presented gifts by AFFA and partners.
