In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, group trainings for the referees have been cancelled temporarily, therefore online classes have been launched for them, taking into account the temporary cancellation.
Classes are held once a week for referees divided into two groups with the participation of AFFA Referees Committee Chairman Fritz Stuchlik and UEFA Referees Committee member Kiros Vassaras. Specific situations in international games are discussed, the answers of the referees are studied through a survey, and recommendations on the correct interpretation and application of the rules of the game are given in the online classes.
