Below are the opinions expressed by the head coach of our national team, Samir Aliyev after the Azerbaijan U-21-Moldova U-21 friendly match held today at "Dalga Arena":
"We are a team which is newly formed and we played an international level game for the first time. Our main goal is to form the U-21 squad in a short period of time. The game against the Moldova team was very useful for us. The opponent was a very well-organized, highly disciplined team. He played more carefully and disciplined, especially in the defensive line. It is difficult to break through the defense line in the game with this kind of opponent. Despite this, we created several scoring opportunities during the 90 minutes. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of these opportunities."
