The national futsal team o Azerbaijan played its next match within the main stage of the 2024 World Cup today.
Our team won with a score of 5:2 over the Greek team in the Baku Sports Palace. The goals of our team were scored by Eduardo Borges, Saiti Ensi, Rafael Vilela, Felipinho and Amaedo da Silva. After this result, our team entered the elite round.
Before the game, AFFA Secretary General Sarkhan Hajiyev and President of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation Zaur Akhundov presented the uniform of the national team and a diploma to Vitaliy Borisov, who ended his career in futsal.
Our team will play its last match in the main qualifying round of the World Cup on March 7 against the Polish national team.
