The Executive Committee has made decisions on leagues

Taking into account the current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a presentation on the leagues held under the AFFA flag was prepared and sent to the members of the Executive Committee. The presentation provided detailed information about the leagues, the current situation and a brief summary of the decisions taken, taking into account the pandemic factor in other national associations that are members of UEFA.

Due to the impossibility of holding a meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee due to the special quarantine regime, the views of each member on the issues mentioned in the presentation on the leagues were studied by a telephone call.

AFFA management and members of the Executive Committee, first of all, thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the purposeful measures taken by the government to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in our country and the health of citizens during the pandemic.

After extensive discussions, the following decisions were made by a majority of votes:

Taking into account the current situation the relevant decisions taken by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers on the educational process in educational institutions according to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, AFFA organized U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 leagues, U-11, U-13, U-16 and Senior girls leagues, in the "Coca-Cola School Cup" tournament, the Regional League season to be ended. With the exception of tournaments with a play-off system in the final round, the teams that are currently in the first place in the league table in other leagues should be declared the winners.

In the event of a positive changes in the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, mini-tournaments should be organized between the teams of the finalized leagues, taking into account the decisions taken by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The current tournament schedule in the leagues where the winners have been announced is as follows:

2. The issue of the Azerbaijan Premier League and the First Division should be considered in the coming weeks, taking into account the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the decisions taken by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

3. The issue of the AFFA Youth League (U-19 age group) will be considered in the coming weeks, taking into account the results of consultations with UEFA, the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the decisions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

4. Relevant proposals on the Futsal Senior League, First League, Second League and Azerbaijan Cup should be prepared by the Futsal Federation and submitted to AFFA. Following the opinion of AFFA, the Futsal Federation should make decisions on the relevant leagues.
