ASCO Arena hosted a football festival within the UEFA Grassroots Week for the children of martyrs and veterans on September 24 with the support of AFFA, UEFA, the National Olympic Committee, "Zafar" Public Union for Support of Martyrs' Families and "Boyuk Qayidis" Youth Organization.
More than 80 children participated in the festival, played football and had fun. The teams participating in the tournament were symbolically called with the names of the cities and regions liberated from occupation. At the end of the festival, AFFA and the National Olympic Committee presented various gifts to each participating child, as well as to veterans of the Patriotic War. The next such events within the UEFA Grassroots Week will be held in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Goychay region.
