After the presentation of a short video clip, AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev greeted the conference participants, guests and media representatives and gave a word to the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimova. In his speech, A.Rahimov stressed the work of AFFA to promote football and a healthy lifestyle in our country and wished success to the Conference.
Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov said that each of the 35 delegates was present and authorized by the Conference.
Later, a selection committee consisting of Karim Aghayev, Nadir Guliyev and Shaig Hamidov was elected.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev made a lecture like a report accompanied by the presentation. At the end of the speech, a video clip was demonstrated showing the work done during the reporting period.
AFFA's Financial Director, Khalid Javadov, listened to the report by an independent auditor Ulvi Hasanov after presenting the financial report.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev presented a special gift from AFFA to the UNICEF Representative in Azerbaijan Edward Carwardine, on the occasion of the mutual cooperation between AFFA and UNICEF for more than 10 years.
Following a speech on the work with the volunteers by Volunteers Coordinator of the Operations Team of the Euro 2020 Games in Baku Yusif Valiyev, a video clip was demonstrated showing volunteers' activities in the events of AFFA.
Then UEFA representative Thierry Favre who was sent to attend the conference and FIFA representative Emily Shaw made speeches.
After the speeches, the election process began. Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov said that one person - current President Rovnag Abdullayev - had been nominated for the post of AFFA president and according to clause 7 of Article 33 of the Regulation, elections might be held by open voting if the participants of the Conference did not protest. Rovnag Abdullayev was once again re-elected AFFA president by unanimous vote.
Elkhan Mammadov said that 12 candidates were nominated for 12 seats in the Executive Committee. According to the Regulation, the election to the Executive Committee was also held by open voting, and the following persons were elected members of the AFFA Executive Committee:
