The tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held among 12-year-old children in Shamakhi within the organization of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan and by the support of the Shamakhi District Executive Power.
8 teams representing Baku and Shamakhi participated in the tournament. Shamakhi Football Club U-12 team and Baku Kristal team faced in the final match. Shamakhi won the game, which lasted until the penalty shootouts. The third place was won by Zangazur team. The winners were presented with medals and cups. Head of the Shamakhi District Executive Power Tahir Mammadov, Head of the AFFA Grassroots Department Farrukh Ismayilov, Coordinator of the Shamakhi Football School Veli Gasimov, Coordinator of the Elite Training Project Yunis Huseynov, Coach of A-National team Arif Asadov and former players attended the event.
After the tournament, a friendly match was held between former players of Shamakhi and Baku.
