Mini football tournament for children with special needs project holding in Binagadi Youth House by the financial support of AFFA, the organization of the Sirius Football Academy, the partnership of the Social Services Agency and the Logos Psychological and Speech Development Center, has been completed.
Yasamal and Binagadi teams met for the third place. Yasamal beat its opponent in 8:2 and completed the tournament in the third place. Azadlig and Ganjlik teams competed in the final game. The full time of the final match ended in a 7:7 draw. Ganjlik was more accurate in the penalty shootout and won the match in 6:5 and became the winner of the tournament. AFFA Technical Director Jahangir Hasanza, Chairman of the Sirius Football Academy Bilal Abbaszada and other guests attended the awarding ceremony.
Note, totally 8 teams took part in the tournament. The project aims to effectively organize leisure time of children with Autism and Down syndrome, to encourage them to play football, to help them overcome the difficulties they face in their social lives, and to accelerate their integration into society.
