FIFA representative Thies Hannes and the Genius Sport Company representative Augustinas Pakulis gave presentations and held trainings on the Competition Management System (FCMS) at the AFFA headquarters on June 13 and 14 with the participation of referees appointed to the Premier League, First Division clubs, Regional and AFFA U-19 leagues, as well members of the National Team, the Referees Department and the Youth Competitions Department.
The Competition Management System is synchronized with the Join Football online registration system on a single platform. The new system will allow to continue and improve the application of modern digital management methods in various areas of football management.
These include:
Competition management for all ages and levels;
Filling of orders and protocols by clubs on the platform;
Referee management mechanism;
National teams.
Note that the full implementation of the Competition Management System is planned for the 2023/2024 season.
