Head coaches shared their opinions in the press conference held after the Azerbaijan vs Croatia match played within the UEFA European Under 21 Championship Qualifying round at Kapital Bank Arena in Sumgayit today:
Milan Obradovic (Azerbaijan U-21 national team head coach): “We were not on the field in the first half. 3 goals were scored from the standard situation. After the break, we tried to do our best. You saw the level difference yourselves. All attempts of Croatia resulted in a goal. We have mistakes, we must work on them. How can I correct these mistakes? This is a national team. It is impossible to correct all mistakes in one day”.
Igor Biscan (Croatia U-21 national team head coach): “I am satisfied with my team and this game. From the score, the game may seem easy, but it was not. I know it also was not easy for other teams that came here. I am satisfied with all my players, they took this game seriously. They were very enthusiastic and their approach to the game was great. We continue our successful performance in the qualifying round”.
