Below is the opinion expressed by the head coach of our national team Jose Alesio da Silva at the press conference held today after the game between Azerbaijan and Greece in the main stage of the 2024 Futsal World Cup:
“I have already said that we did not have enough time to prepare. This is due to the time set by FIFA. Today's game was also preparation for the match with Poland. Compared to the game in Athens, in Baku we conceded 2 goals. It was caused by mistakes we made. Although we secured our place in the elite round, this does not diminish the significance of the game against Poland. We want to advance to the next round as group leader. At the same time, we need to increase our ranking points.”
