An open for media training session was held for Azerbaijan futsal national team preparing to meet Poland within the FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifying main round at Baku Sports Hall at 20:00 on October 7. Before the trainings there was organized a briefing with the participation of Head Coach Joze Alesio Da Silva:
“Although we have started trainings for two days, we cannot train with the full team. Several of our players will join the team tomorrow. We have two more days ahead and we will make the most of it to be as ready as possible for the game.
Unfortunately, Eduardo Borges and Ramiz Chovdarov will miss the games against Poland and Greece because of their injuries. Khatai Baghirov and Isa Atayev solve their problems with the documents and will join the team tomorrow.
We want to collect maximum points in two games. We respect both our opponents. Poland national team is a physically and tactically strong team. They have been training together for 6-7 years. I watched their games against Portugal and Brazil. They started the group games with a victory over Greece. It will be a hard game. Greece national team is not an easy team to beat too. In general, there is no weak team now”.
