In order to develop women’s football in our country, strengthen the promotion of this sport among girls, and increase its popularity, AFFA, UNICEF Azerbaijan and AccessBank carried out a joint project. “3x3 Girls Tournament” among girls of 3 age groups was held at Bayil Stadium. According to the rules of the tournament, 5 players’ names were noted over the course of each team’s participation. During the match three players from each team came to the pitch. One of them was the player who hasn’t taken part in any matches of the team and who isn’t registered with AFFA yet.
50 teams participated in the tournament in 3 categories. Out of 240 girls from these teams 61 have just started playing football and haven’t been registered with AFFA before.

Elite category (born before 01.01.1997):
1. "Qarabagh"; 2. "Akhmedly United"; 3. "Khazar"
Senior category (born between 01.01.1997 and 01.01.2001):
1. UGİM-9; 2. "Farakh"; 3. "Baku Star"
Junior category (born after 01.01.2001):
1. "Mingachevir-3; 2. "Shaki"; 3. "Mingachevir-2"
A competition in penalty kicks was held among the participants of the tournament. The winners of the competition:
