A tournament between village teams was held within the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty with the support of AFFA, and jointly organized by the Nakhchivan Football Federation (NFF) and the Ordubad District Youth and Sports Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
10 teams from cities and villages of the region participated in the competition in Ordubad. In the tournament which was managed by referees from Nakhchivan appointed by AFFA, Kalantar village took first place, Duylun village finished second, and Ordubad city team took third place. The winning teams were presented with trophies, medals, diplomas and gifts by the NFF and Ordubad district YSS.
This project is planned to be implemented in other regions in the future. The goal is to create a unified team consisting of players who have distinguished themselves in village teams and represent the Autonomous Republic in the Regions League.
