Today is the birthday of Anatoly Banishevskiy, one of the brightest figures in the history of Azerbaijani football, who defended the honor of Neftchi club for many years, played for the USSR national team and was remembered as one of the strongest and most talented strikers of his time. On the 80th anniversary of his birth, AFFA officials, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and former football players visited the grave of the deceased football player, laid flowers, and commemorated his dear memory with deep respect and reverence.
