AFFA Deputy General Secretary Elchin Mammadov as a Committee member attended the Club Licensing Committee meeting at UEFA headquarters in Nyon.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
- Updates on UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability;
- Issues related to club ownership;
- Implementation of the UEFA Solidarity Mechanism for the season 2025/2026;
- End of the transitional period for the UEFA Financial Sustainability Rules;
- UEFA medical and anti-doping requirements.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on updated regulations in relevant areas, planned events for the season 2025/2026, and strategic directions for the development of club football.
