Azerbaijan National Beach Soccer team played the opening match in the EURO Beach Soccer League (EBSL) qualifying round, held in Batumi, Georgia. Azerbaijan in Group B of League B faced England.
The match at Batumi Beach Soccer Arena ended to Azerbaijan 8-3. Sabir Allahguliyev scored four goals, while Sahib Mammadov and Mirmovsum Janiyev scored two goals each.
Azerbaijan to play the second group match against Slovakia today and the third match against Latvia on July 17.
