At the meeting, the documents of the clubs that applied to participate in the season 2024/2025 of Misli Premier League, League I competitions and AFFA Top Girls League were reviewed.
AFFA Licensing Commission decided the following after discussions based on Article 9 of the Rules on Licensing of Azerbaijan Football Clubs (Edition 2023):
1. To license the following clubs to participate in Premier League competitions:
"Imishli" PFK, "Shamakhi" FC SU
2. Do not license the following clubs to participate in Premier League competitions
"Iravan" FC, "Garadag Lokbatan" FC, MOIK PFK, "Zagatala" PFK
3. To license the following clubs to participate in League I:
"Araz Saatli" FC, "Baku Sporting" FC, "Difai" FC, "Jabrayil" FC, "Fuzuli" FC, "Karvan" Yevlakh FC, "Kur-Araz" FC, "Garadag Lokbatan" FC, "Mingachevir" FC SU, MOIK PFK, "Shahdag Gusar" FC, "Zagatala" PFC
4. Do not license the following clubs to participate in League I:
"Aghdash" FC, "Dinamo" (Baku) FC IB, "Goygol" FC, "Iravan" FC, "Lerik" FC, "Sheki City", "Shafa" FC, "Shamkir" FC
5. To license the following clubs to participate in Top Girls League:
“Baku Juniors” SK, “Balkhurma Balakan” FC
Note: "Balkhurma Balakan" FC will play under the name "Dirjalis" FC from the next season.
The license applicant can file an appeal to AFFA Licensing Appeals Committee within 10 days from the date of the license refusal notification.
Note: According to Article 14 of the rules on the licensing of Azerbaijani football clubs (Edition 2023), clubs that have received a license to participate in Premier League competitions in the season 2024/2025 are automatically considered to have received a license to participate in League I competitions for the same season.
