Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) and Johan Cruyff Institute sign partnership to develop sports talent
Both institutions have signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of contributing to talent development and enhancing knowledge in the field of sport and football
Through this initiative, AFFA and Johan Cruyff Institute will provide access to internationally recognized educational opportunities for local professionals. Within the framework of this collaboration, individuals in Azerbaijan interested in pursuing education in sport and football will have the opportunity to access Johan Cruyff Institute’s programs through AFFA under more accessible and preferential conditions.
In addition, Azerbaijani candidates will be able to benefit from scholarship opportunities offered by Johan Cruyff Institute through The Cruyff Athlete Fund. Selected participants will receive financial support toward their tuition fees.
Furthermore, as part of the cooperation with AFFA, applicants admitted to the institute will benefit from tuition discounts ranging from 10% to 20% across various programs (including online master’s and diploma programs, football business, sports marketing, etc.).
This opportunity will also be open to other sports federations interested in benefiting from this collaboration. In addition, both organizations will work together to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience in sport, particularly in football.
Johan Cruyff Institute is one of the leading international educational institutions specializing in sport, particularly football. Since its establishment in 1999, the institute has contributed to the development of thousands of professionals in areas such as sport management, football business, marketing, and leadership. Today, it operates in several countries, offers more than 90 educational programs, and has built a global network of over 11,000 alumni.

This partnership is part of AFFA’s strategic approach to expanding international cooperation in football education and developing human capital. AFFA is the first sports federation in Azerbaijan to sign a cooperation agreement with Johan Cruyff Institute.
