As part of his visit to Washington, D.C., to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf met with Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Mohsen Gilani.
During the meeting, AFFA and PFF signed the Memorandum of Understanding to expand cooperation in football.
The agreement aims to strengthen the partnership between the national associations of the two countries, develop football, and enhance international ties. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the parties will collaborate on training camps, friendly matches between national teams of different age groups, promotion of women’s football, futsal, beach and disabled football, as well exchanging and training referees.
The parties noted that this agreement will not only serve the development of football in both countries, create new opportunities for young players, coaches and referees, but will also further strengthen friendship and mutual trust between AFFA and PFF.
