AFFA officials visited Uzbekistan as part of a working visit. The delegation included Orkhan Hasanov, Advisor to AFFA Secretary General, Rahim Hasanov, Chairman of AFFA Referees Committee, Bahruz Teymurov, Head of AFFA Referees Department, and Rahim Balakishiyev, Head of AFFA Information Technologies and Digitalization Department.
AFFA delegation got acquainted with the local football infrastructure and the created conditions, as well as held meetings with local experts in various fields and exchanged views.
Within the framework of the visit, the First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association Rovshan Irmatov met with the Azerbaijani delegation. The expansion of cooperation between the football organizations of the two countries, exchange of experience and opportunities for joint activities in various areas of football were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of the refereeing system, training of young referees and increasing their professional level.
In addition, an exchange of views was held on the digitalization of football, the implementation of modern IT solutions, database management, and the development of children's and youth football.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects in the future.
