The Eyeball analytical platform has been launched as part of the projects implemented by AFFA towards the development of football and the application of modern technologies.
The Eyeball platform has been launched
The project covers both men's and women's football, and has already included U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19 Leagues and the Substitute League, as well as U-16 Women’s League and Women's Premier League teams. This step serves to expand the application of analytics and digital approaches in local football.
It is also planned to fully ensure the use of the Eyeball platform in the Azerbaijani language. This innovation will create more convenient and effective use of the platform for local users, and at the same time contribute to the presentation of analytical data in a more understandable form.
At the initial stage of the Eyeball project, the platform is planned to be implemented among clubs operating in Baku and Absheron. At the next stage, regional clubs are also planning to join the system. At the same time, starting from the next season, all clubs are expected to film their home games and upload them to the platform. The uploaded games are automatically processed by the platform and extensive statistical indicators, and analytical data are formed in a short time. In addition to watching the full video footage of the games, users can select specific episodes, apply filters for events and separately analyze all the main moments that occur within the game.
In addition, every week, a Team of the Week will be prepared for all age groups and presented on the platform. This will create an additional opportunity to monitor the individual performances of the players more closely and to highlight the outstanding players.
At the same time, the performance indicators and game footage of the players can also be monitored by foreign club scouts through the Eyeball platform. This will create conditions for wider recognition of local players at the international level and create additional opportunities for them to play in foreign clubs.
Thus, the platform plays the role of not only an analysis tool, but also an important tool supporting the career development of the players.
