The winner of the 2020-21 Azerbaijan Premier League has been known. Neftchi FC defeated its opponent 1-0 in the 28th tour last match between Neftchi and Garabagh today, won the Azerbaijan Premier League title. The award ceremony for the winners of the 2020-21 season was held after the last match at Dalga Arena.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev, Executive Vice President Elkhan Mammadov and PFL President Ramin Musayev attended the award ceremony. The football clubs Sumgayit, Garabagh and Neftchi as the 2020-21 season runner-ups and the winner were awarded bronze, silver and gold medals, respectively.
Namik Alaskarov, as the Premier League 2020-21 season top-goalscorer with 19 goals, was also awarded a special prize.
At the end of the ceremony, AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev presented the championship trophy to Neftchi FC.
