Aykhan Suleymanli, a captain of Azerbaijan Under-21 team, underwent surgery today in Munich, Germany. The 21-year-old defender underwent a successful operation on the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee by Professor Dr. Philipp Niemeyer at Sana Klinik München.
Note that Aykhan Suleymanli was injured during the match (1-1) against Bulgaria played within the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying round in Baku.
